HOW IT STARTED:
It all started in my kitchen when I decided to film myself making épis and turn it into an Instagram reel. As I cooked, I realized our ancestors were so right-store-bought spices don't even come close. One tablespoon of épis had more flavor than anything I'd ever used.
The "Ah Ha" Moment:
With so much positive feedback from that first reel, I kept making épis for my own kitchen-filming every batch along the way. That's when I realized just how many people, both Haitians and non-Haitians, loved the idea of fresh, homemade flavor without the hassle. It wasn't just a seasoning; it was a kitchen essential.
From Reel to Reality:
I started to explore the idea of selling my own épis and pikliz and mentioned it to my family, who were all for it. But it was still just an idea-until a stranger slid into my DMs after seeing one of my TikToks, asking if I was selling them because she wanted to buy. That was my sign. I took the leap, made it official, and just like that, I had my first customer.
Turning Flavor Into a Business:
In October 2024, I shared the big news on Instagram and TikTok-I was officially launching and starting with 27 orders to celebrate my 27th birthday. The response was overwhelming. So many people wanted to order that I had to increase my initial batch, and I couldn't have been more grateful.
It was yet another confirmation that I was on the right path, and it gave me the push to take an even bigger leap forward.
Bringing Fresh to your kitchen:
Over time, I listened closely to customer feedback and continuously refined the recipes to make them just right. As someone who's mindful of what I put into my body and always reads labels, it was essential for me to build a brand that people could trust. That's why I'm committed to using only the best, freshest ingredients in every batch.

I couldn't have come this far without the incredible support of the FRESH family. Every purchase, every piece of feedback, and every social media post fills me with gratitude.
